The Walt Disney Company was started as the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio by Roy Disney and his brother Walter Disney. Later, when Walter Disney died of Lung Cancer , Roy Disney renamed the company in memory of his brother.. i.e as The Walt Disney Company.
